One of our recent commissions, inspired by Celtic and Maori body art to create two beautiful bespoke wedding rings.

At the Workshop Jewellers we love a commissioned project!

...And with wedding season now well under way, we have lots of gorgeous jewellery projects we have made that we want to share with you!
So, here's how we go about our commisions...
At our Burbage showroom, our very talented Designer & Goldsmith, Jo Thorpe, can take inspiration from any design ideas you may have, (in this case the customer's tattoo!) or assist you in narrowing down the ideas that you love with some sketches.
This customer wanted to ceate a pair of wedding bands in the style of his tattoo. The combination of both Celtic and Maori art gave Jo a starting point to design something very sentimental and unique.
After drawing up some initial sketches, we created a CAD image to show to the customer before having it cast in Palladium 950. A truly personal design of a wedding band worn on his finger to correspond with the customer's body art on his arm.
This design was then adapted to produce a beautiful complementing wedding band for the customer's fiancee. His and hers matching rings... Romantic or what?!
