About this deal

Two squads of Phase I Clone Troops enter the fight to preserve the Republic. Five carry the DC-15A blaster rifle while two heavy weapons specialists add extra firepower with a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and a DC-15 blaster rifle modified to fire from long range.

While the Battle Droids and Clone Troopers you find here mainly saw action during the Clone Wars, this does not mean they’re limited to fighting one another in Star Wars: Legion. Once you’ve built your clone or droid army, you’re free to deploy it against the forces of the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance and play out any Star Wars ground battle you’d like! The legion was not a standard element in the line Army forces of either the Galactic Republic or Galactic Empire, which identified comparable formations as divisions and battlegroups. It was, however, a key field formation for the white-armored clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic and their successors, the Stormtrooper Corps of the Galactic Empire. Soon, these heroes will rise from the ranks of your Star Wars™: Legion armies. Fantasy Flight Games is happy to announce four Clone Wars-era expansions: Beyond their personal skills, Clone Commanders have the weight of the Republic behind them and they know how to use it with three new command cards available exclusively to the Republic. Vehicles often play an important role in Republic strategy, and a Clone Commander can easily set up aEffective Clone Trooper armor that emulates what we see in Star Wars: Clone Wars isn’t that difficult with a little now how. Looking over images of the Clones in the show we see that battle hardened clones of the series have mostly white armor with hints of gray. It took a bit of referencing stills from the show with some testing and eventually I found that contrast paints would work great for Clone Wars style armor. Every clone is trained to fight and give their life for the Republic. But not all clones have the training to keep the Grand Army of the Republic running like a well-oiled machine. Add even more variety to your armies when the Republic Specialists Personnel Expansion arrives on February 19! The Republic Specialists Personnel Expansion puts four clone troopers with special training at your disposal, allowing you to field a generic commander unit and add personnel upgrades to other units in your army, including a clone commander unit leader, clone medic, clone engineer, and a clone comms technician. No matter which of these troops you choose, you can always make use of the Republic’s signature strategies with the three new command cards exclusive to the Galactic Republic faction found here.

Fueled by his hatred, Darth Maul wields his iconic double-bladed lightsaber with uncommon ferocity, using the unpredictable Juyo form of lightsaber combat to channel his own inner rage and torment into raw combat ability. His DRK-1 Sith Probe Droids make him even more dangerous by covertly observing his foes while Maul uses all of his skill as a duelist to remain elusive and deny his enemies any advantage they may have. Although the Jedi may be the highest-ranking members of the Grand Army of the Republic, it is the clones that most often carry out battle plans and complete the Republic’s objectives. With the ranks of Jedi perilously thin, Clone Commanders often have to step up and lead from the trenches. ARC Troopers represent everything clone troopers can be. More than just fine soldiers, they display a commitment to their Jedi Generals and their fellow clone troopers that goes above and beyond the call of duty. As such, ARC Troopers are called upon to embark on the most critical missions and use their unshakeable resolve to turn the tide of battle in the Grand Army of the Republic’s favor. None of these clone’s efforts would be worthwhile without proper communication, of course, which makes a

If you choose to take up the cause of the Galactic Republic, this Core Set provides fourteen Phase I Clone Trooper miniatures—enough for two corps units—to form the foundation of your armies, as well as a BARC Speeder miniature that adds some much needed versatility and mobility to your Republic forces. Finally, leading this grand army into battle is legendary Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, who threatens enemy forces with his lightsaber and unconventional battle tactics alike. For the white armor I start by fixing any issues with Corax white so I can get the minis ready for its contrast mix wash. This wash is a simple mix of 2 parts Apothecary White, 1 part Belisarius Gray, and 3 parts Contrast Medium which makes my “Trooper” mix. The goal with the mix is to make sure it settles in the recessed areas and making them a darker shade of gray while giving the rest of the white armor some character. For the shoulders, helmets and chest areas you’ll want to make sure that it only pools in the recess such as the cheeks in the helmet and under the pecs in the armor. For any errors a thin layers of Ulthuan gray can help fix the issues as it’s somewhat close to the effect we’re looking for. In addition to introducing the Galactic Republic and Separatist Alliance to the game as new factions, this Core Set contains all the cards, tools and tokens you need to begin staging your own Star Wars battles right away, making this the perfect starting point for building your Star Wars: Legion collection. Importantly, the Clone Wars Core Set is not a new edition of the game, and you don't need the original Core Set to start playing. The Clone Wars Core Set is fully compatible with all previous Star Wars: Legion products, inviting you to play out whatever battles you can imagine across the saga. But being an effective commander is about more than your individual combat skills. In addition to being a renowned duelist, Anakin Skywalker also leads the legendary 501 st Legion of clone troopers and his bravery is often reflected in those he commands. Skywalker became a From his duel with Darth Maul to mentoring a young Anakin Skywalker in the ways of the Force, Obi-Wan Kenobi had distinguished himself from his Jedi brethren long before the onset of the Clone Wars. With the Separatist threat looming, however, Kenobi is ready to take on his most crucial role yet.

With the loss of his squadmates and the evidence, Marrt resolved to complete the Mission to Belgaroth on his own. He returned to the factory, fought against the Banking Clan's battle droids for several hours and ultimately burned the facility to the ground shortly after obtaining Czerka's data records as proof of the company's dealings with the enemies of the Republic. Though heavily wounded, he escaped from Belgaroth and was transported to a Republic medical facility on Sacorria where he was able to personally deliver the evidence to High Jedi General Kit Fisto and Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano. [1] A lightsaber is an effective weapon against both blaster fire and other melee weapons, particularly in the hands of someone who has received extensive training. Anakin Skywalker can use this training to adopt a Hero of the Republic. The Chosen One. Anakin Skywalker’s exploits during the Clone Wars have made him a legend throughout the galaxy. Known as a fearless battlefield commander, his skill has earned him the respect of those under his command and the ire of his enemies. Now he’s prepared to take any means necessary to complete his goals. Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous each pose with lightsabers at the ready, prepared to lead their troops into battle and show off their skills in combat. Both these miniatures are exclusive to the Clone Wars Core Set.Beyond his skills as a warrior, Kenobi is also a leader to the clone troopers under his command. As a commander, he holds great influence over your army, of course, and has plenty of ways to impact the tactics you employ in battle. He can, for example, use his mastery of the Force A clone legion consisted of 9,216 troops, normally headed by a Jedi General and a Senior clone commander. A Grand Army of the Republic legion, with some 7,000 attached support personnel, was the standard complement of an Acclamator-class assault ship. Imperial stormtrooper legions were equal to the size of Imperial Army battlegroups, 8,192 troops, and were likely to have been led by officers of comparable rank to the High Colonels and Major Generals of the Imperial Army. In addition to the miniature, you’ll find all of Anakin Skywalker’s abilities laid out on a unit card alongside his three signature command cards that allow him to leave his own mark on a battle. Powerful as he may be, Skywalker is more susceptible than most to the temptations of the dark side, and this weakness is represented by a new Flaw card that his opponents can exploit. Finally, rounding out this expansion are six upgrade cards ensuring Anakin Skywalker has the training and Force abilities to face any test.

A BARC Speeder miniature gives your Clone Troopers some much-needed speed as they look to out-maneuver the Separatist's battle droids and can be assembled with or without its sidecar. Those who include the sidecar can further customise their speeder with a twin laser gunner, an RPS-6 gunner, or an ion gunner. As skilled as he is, Kenobi may have met his match in General Grievous. Proudly wielding the trophy lightsabers he has collected from the Jedi he has defeated in battle, Grievous is a particularly dangerous opponent, his agility making him equally adept at avoiding damage as he is at doling it out. Within this Core Set, you’ll find one beautifully detailed General Grievous miniature that can be assembled in three different ways: with two of his trophy lightsabers and a cloak; carrying a single lightsaber and a DT-57 “Annihilator” blaster pistol while shrouded in his cloak; or with all four trophy lightsabers at the ready. While Jedi Generals like Anakin Skywalker lead the Grand Army of the Republic, clone troopers keep it running at peak efficiency. Some clones even combine the skill at arms and genetic template all clones share with further specialized training in areas like communications and engineering to support Republic operations on the ground. Legion in terms of the cost in time, effort and price is very different from what you previously know and love. The figures do require assembly, only gluing and positioning, but that does require some skill and patience—they're not pre-assembled, pre-painted, ready to go. It's very much a wargame in the hobby sense, and if this is your first wargame, you're going to have to spend some time putting the figures together and painting them if you want them to look great…” As the Separatist Alliance spreads itself across the galaxy, brave Clone Troopers and valiant Jedi are the only thing that stand between the relentless waves of Battle Droids and total galactic domination. Soon, you can build your armies and battle for the fate of the galaxy.
